This presentation will show real-life examples of Power-to-Heat-assets being financed and operated on behalf of a German transmission system operator as a demand-side flexibility for congestion management.

In the framework of a specific sector-coupling regulation more than 300 MW of flexible Power-to-Heat assets have been already deployed. The presentation will describe the underlying principle, regulatory framework and operational processes. Moreover, it will discuss some real-life experiences using recent data analysis.
