The session, dedicated to Western Europe, will build on the WG1-led Task Force Paper on Flexibility in Built Environments and Industry, exploring flexibility as a key driver of grid decarbonisation and RES integration. It will cover demand response, sector coupling, district heating, and industry’s role, along with digitalisation, decentralised energy trading, and related regulatory and market challenges.
