Panel: Interoperability

22 Oct 2024
Digital Tech Hub (Hall 5)
Session: Interoperability

With various segments of regulation coming into force recently in Europe the trend towards making data available for customers to better manage their energy footprint is very apparent. The process for regulation coming into force is very slow, as is the world of formal harmonized standards. However standards setting organizations can help bridge this gap by already working on standards and specifications that provide technology solutions. This session aims to discuss the important role of interoperability in the emerging world of energy management, as well as the current and emerging standards and technology landscape underpinning the energy management proposition of tomorrow.
