With a background in public policy, energy systems, and technological innovation, he brings a unique approach to solving complex sustainability problems through cutting-edge artificial intelligence.
His professional journey includes significant roles that have shaped his expertise. In the public sector, he spent six years as a policy specialist in Brazil, laying the foundation for his deep understanding of systemic challenges. At Octopus Energy, he worked as a Project Innovation Manager, designing groundbreaking business models and creating zero-to-one innovations that integrated hardware, software, and social solutions across multiple decentralised energy technologies. His time at Dataiku further expanded his impact, where he supported energy companies in democratising AI access through no-code and low-code solutions.
Recognised for his exceptional contributions, Guilherme has received multiple prestigious awards. He was named Young Energy Professional of the Year in 2022 by the Energy Institute and is a Board member of the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders program. Academically, he holds an MSc in Economics, Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL, a post-graduation in Business Management from the Dom Cabral Foundation, and a BSc in Public Administration from the Joao Pinheiro Foundation.
