Mr. Ángel Díaz Gallo is the Director of the Energy Systems and Grids in Tecnalia, a private Research Centre in Spain. With an education background as B.Sc. Industrial Engineer by the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao and Expert in Business Management and Technology by Deusto Business School, he has a 30 year expertise in the Power and Electricity Distribution business, working firstly for a DSO, and then during the last 20 years in Innovation and Research Projects for the Power Industry.
Mr. Díaz has a broad experience in collaboration with many National and International energy related initiatives. Currently, he serves as Spanish representative at the Executive Committee of the International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN), and he is also a Steering Committee member of the Smart Grids Join Programme for European Energy Research Alliance (EERA), and for the Smart Grids Spanish Technical Platform (FUTURED).
