Yellow Grid and HW group will showcase smart energy storage and automated data reporting solutions.
Yellow Grid transforms electric boilers into smart distributed energy storage units.
By harnessing the thermal capacity of existing boilers, the system reduces electricity costs and optimises hot water heating.
When aggregated across blocks of 1,000 boilers, this flexibility creates a virtual energy storage network that helps stabilise the power grid and supports a more sustainable energy future.
The Yellow Grid solution is designed for simple installation and integration with both households and commercial facilities.
Tamias by HW group is an automated system for the collection and transmission of data from electricity meters within Local Distribution Systems (LDS).
Every 15 minutes, it evaluates, stores, and reports data on electricity consumption and production, following standard trading periods used in the energy sector. The data is consolidated in a SensDesk-based portal, where each supply point (OPM) is identified by its EAN code.
Tamias automatically transfers this information to national systems — for example, to OTE in the Czech Republic via the partner service Dispatch.
The solution provides full automation of LDS energy flow reporting and includes monitoring, visualisation, and API access, offered as a hardware-plus-service model with regular subscription plans.
What will we be doing / showcasing at the event: Yellow Grid will demonstrate how electric boilers can be transformed into distributed energy storage and how their flexibility can be aggregated. Tamias by HW group will showcase an automated system for 15-minute data collection, evaluation, and reporting from electricity meters within Local Distribution Systems (LDS), integrated with national platforms such as OTE.
