RheEnergise is bringing innovation to pumped energy storage, with a solution called High-Density Hydro®. HD Hydro is a grid-scale energy storage solution, providing 4 to 20 hours of energy storage in the 10MW to 100MW power range.
RheEnergise projects work just like traditional pumped-hydro (PSH) but instead of using water, an environmentally benign fluid is used with 2.5x the density of water in a closed loop system. The introduction of a high-density fluid means that projects can be built on small hills rather than mountains, which in turn means there are tens of thousands more suitable sites available.
What will we be doing / showcasing at the event: Our CEO Stephen Crosher will be giving a presentation discussing how we can 'Unlock the potential of pumped-hydropower for high energy users and datacentre'.
