ANIMA - Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical and Engineering Industries, represents within Confindustria companies of the mechanical sector, which employs 220.400 employees, with 44,5 billion Euro production and 57.2% export share (estimates 2020). Established in 1914, ANIMA numbers 30 associations and 1,000 companies, highly qualified in their sectors. Macrosectors and technologies represented: energy production and oil & gas industry; logistics and handling; water and food; industry; building; personal security and safety; metallic products. Generazione Distribuita (Distributed Generation) Born in 2021 within ANIMA CONFINDUSTRIA, the Association 'Generazione Distribuita ' Systems for production of Energy' represents manufacturers and distributors of equipment, machines, components and systems for distributed conversion of electric energy. The Association is a non-profit entity, acts within ANIMA Federation and Confindustria system. It is aimed at defending, safeguarding and promoting trade interests it also institutionally represents, supporting collective interests of member-companies through every suitable action and representing politics of its industrial sector. Italcogen ' Association and manufacturers and distributors of cogeneration plants It gathers within ANIMA CONFINDUSTRIA manufacturers and distributors of cogeneration systems, heat recovery and fuel cells in Italy. Within Italcogen all cogeneration technologies are represented, both powered by fossile fuels, both by biomasses. The sector represents thus an important branch of Italian supply chain of energy efficiency and technologies for attaining 2030 environmental goals. UCC- Association of boiler manufacturers Founded in 1950, is the association joining ANIMA CONFINDUSTRIA which represents manufacturers and Italian companies operating in the wide branch of pressure equipment, from designing to production. UCC operates within ANIMA in representation of more than 40 Italian entrepreneurs of pressure equipment. Main purpose of UCC is qualifying and enhancing the whole sector, from technical-standard aspects to production and distribution of the products. UCT ' Association of turbine manufacturers The Association represents manufacturers of hydraulic, steam and gas turbines and represents the meeting and networking ideal place for Italian companies operating in the market of energy production. UCT is committed to manufacturers requirements specifically aimed at solving trade matters and safeguarding interests of companies of the branch as for economic, technical and legal issues.
