ENFLATE aims to enable and increase energy flexibility across all sectors of the European energy system. Recognising the importance of flexible and resilient electricity networks in achieving a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, the project focuses on optimising energy consumption and encouraging consumers to engage with flexibility markets.

By developing innovative digital tools, market mechanisms and community-based energy models, ENFLATE is promoting new ways for consumers and producers to interact within an evolving energy market.

Partly funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme, ENFLATE brings together leading partners from across Europe with a total budget of €14.3 million. Together, they are shaping the pathway towards a smarter, cleaner and more inclusive European energy system.
