The Energy Storage Europe Association is the leading member-supported organisation representing stakeholders active across the entire energy storage value chain. Based in Brussels, Belgium, and established in 2011, the association supports the deployment of energy storage to enable a cost-effective transition toward a resilient, climate-neutral, and secure energy system. Bringing together around 70 members, including utilities, technology providers, research institutes, and system operators, the Energy Storage Europe Association combines extensive expertise across all major storage technologies and applications. This collective knowledge allows the association to develop innovative ideas and policy recommendations that are essential for building a regulatory framework supportive of energy storage and Europe’s clean energy future.
