Tamer Turna'was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1967. He graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business ' Executive Education Program (2015), performed his Ph.D. (2001), M.Sc. (1992), UGRD (1990) education at the Technical University Yildiz with the major in mechanical engineering, whereas such education credentials have been accepted by the University of Toronto (2015). In 08/2021 Dr. Turna was appointed as the Sr. Advisor to BLOOM ENERGY CORPORATION located in San Jose - California, which is the world leading producer of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) and Solid Oxide Electrolyte Cell (SOEC) modules, units and plants having a total global footprint of 15 thousand modules installed reflecting ca. 700 MW operational power generation capacity. Prior to joining BLOOM ENERGY he worked as engineer, salesman manager, executive manager, C.E.O. and Board Member at companies (first to last) like Stromerzeugung u. Anlagenbau GmbH, Borusan Power Systems AS., CATERPILLAR Power Ventures, MVV Energie AG, E.ON Energy Projects, E.ON Climate and Renewables Ltd., TES, Yildirim Energy Holding, cmc Instruments, KARPOWERSHIP INTERNATIONAL. His total work experience of 32 years, covers a cumulative capacity of 115 GW installed power generation capacities, having served in design-build-project management-sales-service-develop-finance-invest-asset management-trade, with a business footprint of having performed projects in 86 countries.
