Sebastien's 15-year energy sector journey spans diverse leadership roles in research and innovation.
Currently, he spearheads the EU-funded project InterOPERA, "enabling multi-vendor HVDC grids," at SuperGrid Institute. He previously played a pivotal role as Transformation Manager and excelled as an R&D Team Manager in HVDC systems.
Notably, as an Innovation Manager at GE Renewable Energy, he pioneered eco-friendly SF6-free high voltage circuit breakers and managed high-performance multiphysics simulation software development.
Sebastien holds dual Engineering Master degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (X2003) and EPFL.
