
Paolo Roccetti
Mr. Paolo Roccetti is the head of cybersecurity research unit at Engineering's R&D labs since 2015, involved in EU and national research projects and initiatives. His technical background covers cyber risk governance, social engineering techniques and countermeasures, authentication and access control for distributed systems. He is the coordinator of H2020 project CyberSEAS, providing cybersecurity solutions for energy data services, and chairs the CyberEPES cluster, for the protection of Electrical Power and Energy Systems. He co-chairs the working group on Cybersecurity for Verticals of the European CyberSecurity Organization. His past work includes the coordination of H2020 projects COMPACT, to improve the resilience of Local Public Administrations against cyberattacks, and HERMENEUT, to assess cyber risks on intangible assets of organizations; a threat intelligence solution to fight botnets (FP7 project ACDC) and a risk assessment tool for cyber threats in industry (FP7 project CYSPA); a Social-Driven Vulnerability Assessment framework (H2020 project DOGANA) and contributing to a phishing detection service (EIT project WAFFLE).
