Nuno Silva has sought to contribute a positive impact on the energy sector for over two decades. Nuno began working with the energy sector during his PhD, where he provided strategic advice to four utilities in the UK as well as the regulator, focusing on long term planning scenarios for integration of high penetration of Distributed Energy Resources, such as renewables and electric vehicles.

Nuno was appointed as ENODA’s Head of Manufacturing in 2025 and is leading the development, scaling, and continuous improvement of the company’s automated and robotized manufacturing operations, as it transitions to a global business. Tasked with achieving best-in-class manufacturing standards, Nuno will oversee the industrialization and production scalability of ENODA's flagship product, the Prime Exchanger, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation in all industrialization processes, product feedback and delivery.

Nuno envisions bringing ENODA’s technological breakthroughs to scale, translating R&D innovations into commercially viable products. He is working with the overall team to integrate advanced manufacturing techniques, such as AI-optimized production lines and blockchain-secured supply chains, enabling ENODA to redefine global energy manufacturing standards.

Nuno joins ENODA from the Efacec Group, where he held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Board Member. He had a diversified career here, most notably leading the Technology teams and overseeing the entire portfolio of products and services. During his time there he also held positions including General Manager of the Service Business Unit, Global Director of Technology and Innovation of the Group, Director of R&D and Strategy for the Automation unit.
