Konstantinos Kotsalos holds a Diploma from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a PhD from Faculty of Engineering University of Porto (FEUP) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His PhD research was granted with a full Marie-Curie Fellowship (INCITE) and covered extensive research on Distribution Management Systems for Low Voltage distribution networks, proposing control functionalities for the future smart secondary substation. Since 2020, he has joined the R&D team of EUROPEAN DYNAMICS participating in EU projects. Among his main research interests are Integration of Distributed Energy Resources, Power System Analysis, Advanced Distribution Management Systems and Multi-Agent Based Systems.
