Dr.-Ing. Kai Mainzer's technical focus is on geoinformatics, machine learning and optimisation of energy systems.

He is an expert in the combination of numerous data sources, the building-specific mapping of existing infrastructure and the development of future target scenarios. One particular focus of his work is the analysis of the potential of all energy sources needed for heating design at building and urban level.
