Jan Prasil is Director of New Energy Technologies Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. He is focused on innovative solutions to sustainable energy: small modular reactors, hydrogen, energy research. He has been Chair of the Czech Working Group on Small and Medium Sized Reactors and led the work on Czechia’s SMR Roadmap. Previously, he worked as a Senior EU Regulatory Affairs Specialist at CEZ, Energy Policy Officer at the Government Office of the Czech Republic, and adviser to Czech members of the European Parliament in Brussels.
