
Frederic Wurtz
Fr'd'ric Wurtz is research director at the CNRS and researcher at the University of Grenoble Alpes, at Grenoble INP and G2Elab in Grenoble, France. He develops research at the interface of energy engineering and social sciences for the design of energy systems (so called "smart-energy-systems"): typically automobiles, planes, buildings, energy networks, eco-districts and cities, with a focus on micro-grids and energy communities.
Fr'd'ric Wurtz notably co-directed the interdisciplinary eco-SESA program (https://ecosesa.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/) which became the Energy Transition Observatory (https://ote.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/).
