Charles Esser has been Secretary General of E.DSO, the European Association of Distribution System Operators, since December 2023. Previously, he has worked with CEER for over six years as Secretary General until December 2023. Before that, he was an independent consultant and journalist, an analyst with the International Energy Agency, the International Crisis Group in Brussels and the U.S. Energy
