Carlo Maria Drago is currently General Manager of Meters and More AISBL, a not-for-profit Association with the mission of promoting a leading communication standard for smart grids. Carlo has previous experience working in IBM for 33 years providing technical, commercial and marketing services to customers of the Utility, Environment and Energy industry. His main professional experiences and achievements include project and programme management for the design and deployment of the Enel Accounting System; identification, design and winning of the Malta Integrated Utilities Business System (IUBS) transformation project; design and development of multiple solutions in the Utilities business agenda; participation in EU-funded projects. Carlo is also a recognized speaker in international conferences, seminars, university work-shops and writes for different industry magazines.
