Dr. Brian Higgins, Vice President of Innovation, has been with B&W since 2021. For 20+ years, he has developed new technologies in renewable energy and pollution control. Prior to joining B&W, he served as CTO for GreenFire Energy, a geothermal startup company, EnviroCare International, an industrial scrubber company, and Nalco Mobotec, a boiler pollution control company.
Higgins’ academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, a post-doctorate at Sandia National Labs and a faculty position at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
