Andy Joynson
Qualified with a Master of Engineering from Loughborough, Andy gained 30+ years' experience as Director of Operations at various FMCG businesses including Mondelez, PepsiCo and innocent drinks.
Most recently, as 'chief blender' with innocent, he led the design, build, and start-up of innocent's first own, Eu230m, exemplar factory, 'the blender'. Running with 55% of the energy of its peer size plants, there's no gas. The factory is fully electric and utilises heat pumps to recover heat , and on-site renewables on the supply side.
Understanding their world, and passionate about decarbonisation in industry, it was a natural move for Andy to join Caldera in 2023. His role is to engage with industrial partners keen to achieve net zero while they meet their process heat requirements.
