An exciting programme development is the introduction of an Innovation Booster, which each year will focus on a particularly promising area of the energy transition, with the aim to raise awareness, promote innovation and encourage investment.
This year, the focus is on Clean Hydrogen, which is widely recognised as a key enabler of the energy transition, not least as a potential game-changer in our efforts to decarbonise sectors, such as heating, manufacturing and transportation.
However, before we can properly realise hydrogen’s potential, there are plenty of challenges that need addressing, not least scalability and putting the necessary infrastructure in place. Central to those challenges being overcome are blue-sky thinking, innovative ideas and pioneering solutions.
The Hydrogen Innovation Booster will be woven throughout the whole Initiate Programme, which will feature specific hydrogen-related innovation sessions showcasing ground-breaking clean hydrogen developments and projects from start-ups, research organisations and universities, many working in collaboration with the industry, that could take us a step forward to making it a reality.
Start-ups & Young Talent
As part of the Innovation Booster, we are also running a number of hydrogen-related Innovation Booster Challenges for our students and young professionals participating in the Young Talent Programme.
We are currently seeking Corporate sponsors for these challenges. Get in touch if you're interested!
Finally, as part of this exciting initiative, we are also offering a number of selected start-ups active in the hydrogen space the opportunity to have a presence in the Start-up Community Hub for FREE!
