Matthias Nadrag is the founder and CEO of enixi, a software company providing digital infrastructure for energy sharing and energy communities.

With enixi, he has built one of the leading platforms for operating and billing energy sharing models in Austria. Today, a majority of active energy sharing initiatives in the country rely on enixi’s software or infrastructure.

The platform is used by utilities, municipalities, housing providers and energy communities to run compliant, scalable local energy markets.

Matthias focuses on translating complex energy regulation into practical digital solutions. His work combines technology, market communication and regulatory implementation, enabling new business models such as energy communities, tenant electricity and socially oriented energy sharing.

In addition to commercial projects, he is involved in initiatives addressing energy poverty through community-based energy sharing models.

Matthias has a background in energy systems and digitalisation, and regularly works with research institutions, utilities and public bodies on innovation and scale-up projects.
