Dr. Safwat retired in 2020 after serving in various lead positions at 23 years at Bechtel (USA), 5 years at Enron(USA) and 20 year at Consolidated Contractors Group (Greece). He was involved in EPC and development of power plants both fossil and renewable energy. His experience covered technical and managerial tasks. Since his retirement he is managing the consultancy company “Energy Development Services” providing services in Energy Transition building on his extensive energy experiences for over 40 years.
