Helmut-Klaus Schimany, MAS, MSc, is Chairman of the Board of the Austrian Federal Association for eMobility (Bundesverband eMobility Austria), a role he has held since 2013. Since 2012, he has also been the owner and Managing Director of the engineering consultancy cmobility. Prior to this, he held senior management positions in national and international companies, most recently at the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), where he worked in corporate strategy with a focus on telematics and eMobility. His core expertise includes eMobility systems, charging infrastructure, operational management systems, use-case development, tendering processes, and economic feasibility assessments. He is the project lead of Austria’s national flagship conference eMOKON and represents Austria within the D-A-CH eMobility cooperation.
