Chris is a serial founder and engineer who previously built Alpas (YCombinator W21), a software company that helps clients like BASF, ABB, and SBB source mechanical parts faster and cheaper.

His background is in physics and data science (CERN), as well as in sales and software engineering for the educational AI and electric mobility spaces.

He co-founded Podero in Vienna in 2022.

Podero is a SaaS platform helping leading utilities (E.ON, TotalEnergies, oekostrom and others) unlock smarter energy products around “residential device flex” - distributed energy resources (DERs) such as EVs, heat pumps, solar and batteries.
