The flexibility in the EU power system needs to nearly double by 2030 to keep pace with the growth of variable renewable electricity sources, according to a recent report by ACER & EEA. To achieve this, we need to appropriately address the fundamental aspects of consumer engagement and the evolve the services and platforms towards a fully integrated energy system.
