H2 ready CHP for carbon neutral microgrids
The volatile and unpredictable nature of renewable energy sources needs highly available and hydrogen ready backup power solutions for resilience and grid stability. Therefore, decentralized solutions like microgrids will play an increasingly important role in providing reliable energy to remote sites, data centers, factories and communities.
This presentation will explain how microgrid controllers act as the brain of a microgrid by integrating and optimizing multiple DERs such as CHP, renewables and storage devices while helping to ensure high power reliability and plant uptime. Optimization is focused on lowering CO2 emissions, optimizing plant economics and maximizing reliability and grid stability.
