Epsilon Composite Cable is a pioneer and world leader in high performance composite materials thanks to the pultrusion process. This highly efficient technology makes the perfect solution to manufacture strong durable cores for High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductors. We are today at the forefront of grid modernization effort, with a proven track record of several thousands of kilometers of power lines modernized worldwide in the past decades.
HVCRC® (High Voltage Composite Reinforced Conductors) are a range of products made of a carbon-glass epoxy composite core and trapezoidal 1350-O annealed aluminium strands. Compared with traditional ACSR conductor, these conductors allow to double the ampacity of a line or to decrease its losses by up to 30% while reducing sag. Alongside our product portfolio, we provide multiple other technical services to our global customer base including ampacity and sag calculations, fittings and accessories, worksite installation training, etc.
