Alva helps DSOs to operate and plan their low-, medium-, and high voltage grids. It learns and predicts the consumption behavior of each consumer individually, using state-of-the-art machine learning. A built-in power flow calculation allows to predict and warn grid operators about potential overload situations and other grid issues. Advanced simulation methods enable to evaluate reconfigurations of the grid, and to anticipate the impacts of those reconfigurations. Alva also supports grid planning activities by allowing to simulate custom loads at any point of the grid. Alva can even suggest counter-measures to grid issues or schedule when would be the best time for electrical cars to charge according to the predicted surrounding grid capacity.
