Renewables are experiencing massive investments, with 2022 seeing a 19% growth from 2021 investment levels and 50% from 2019, according to a recent report from IRENA and Climate Policy Initiative. However, more still is needed to meet a 1.5°C goal by 2050.
If we want to rely overwhelmingly on renewables, accelerating adoption and powering the energy transition with storage is a must.
